01 · Problem

Problem

The consortium needed visitors to see the whole museum network, not only the museum they were already standing in.

02 · Approach

Approach

Visitors scanned a target image to open a stylized 3D map with 360 previews from all ten museums. Each museum also had its own AR target for the route's treasure-hunt layer.

03 · Outcome

Outcome

  • Ten museums became one connected visitor route.
  • 360 previews gave visitors a reason to continue to the next museum.
  • Treasure-hunt progress rewarded visits to five museums and all ten museums.

Worth knowing before you write a brief

AppsFlyer's 2025 benchmark across 28 billion installs puts Day-1 retention at around 25%. AR apps sit below that floor, because every reviewer is a single-use case, not a habit. WebAR removes the funnel. The link that opened the experience the first time still opens it the second.
