Together with Immersal, flyAR created a VPS-powered arena game concept where hockey spectators could shoot AR pucks at a giant goalie appearing in the middle of the rink.

The concept needed to show how visual positioning could make a large public venue usable as an AR game space.

Approach

We built a functional hockey-game demo for an arena setting, using the rink as the shared spatial reference for the giant goalie and puck-shooting interaction.

Outcome

  • The demo showed how arena-scale AR can be anchored to a real venue.
  • Spectators could understand the game immediately: shoot pucks at the goalie.
  • The project demonstrated what VPS can add to live-event entertainment.
