01 · Problem

Problem

The festival poster needed to carry practical information while also feeling like an artwork in its own right.

02 · Approach

Approach

We took vector artwork from the designer, separated it into layers, animated it, and added an AR-window effect. Users could switch timetable tabs for different stages.

03 · Outcome

Outcome

  • The poster became an interactive festival map and schedule.
  • Layered parallax, blinking eyes, and music made the print feel alive.
  • The project remains one of Frans's favourite AR poster examples.

Brand, retail & product moments

Extend packaging, POS, showrooms, and events into an app-free / browser-based brand moment people can open without installing anything.

Worth knowing before you write a brief

AppsFlyer's 2025 benchmark across 28 billion installs puts Day-1 retention at around 25%. AR apps sit below that floor, because every reviewer is a single-use case, not a habit. WebAR removes the funnel. The link that opened the experience the first time still opens it the second.
