Show the animal nobody sees

Animalia · Tuhotuotetut

Most people in Finland have never seen a broiler chicken alive. For Animalia's Tuhotuotetut campaign we built two browser-based experiences: a 3D Ross 308 broiler at five weeks with hotspots about its physical condition, and a real-scale AR view that places sixteen to eighteen broilers in one square metre of the visitor's own room.

01 · Problem

An animal nobody sees

Industrial broiler farming is the largest hidden animal-welfare issue in Finland. Statistics don't land. The campaign needed something a visitor could open, stay with, and feel.

02 · Approach

Real-scale, in the visitor’s own room

We modelled a five-week-old broiler with the proportions and difficulty fast-growth production produces, not a stylised bird. The 1m² AR view places production density into the visitor's own space at real scale. Both experiences embed straight into Animalia's campaign site.

03 · Outcome

Density that is hard to disprove

  • An invisible animal made visible.
  • Production density that is hard to disprove once you have stood next to it.
  • Embedded into the Animalia campaign site, not a microsite to maintain.

Brand, retail & product moments

Extend packaging, POS, showrooms, and events into an app-free / browser-based brand moment people can open without installing anything.

Worth knowing before you write a brief

AppsFlyer's 2025 benchmark across 28 billion installs puts Day-1 retention at around 25%. AR apps sit below that floor, because every reviewer is a single-use case, not a habit. WebAR removes the funnel. The link that opened the experience the first time still opens it the second.
